It is important for the organization to maximize the return from its Human Capital---its people. Through training, the organization supplies the skills and knowledge to its employees, so they will be productive and successful within the organization. The HRSB will provide the following processes to help the organization administer its training program: Education - Employees will be able to enter their education level and schools on-line. Registration - Employees will be able to register for training programs on-line through the Employee Portal. Certification - As employees complete internal or external training programs, and acquire degrees, certifications or skills, they can enter these on-line through the Employee Portal. Skills Inventory and Matching - As employees continue to enter their degrees, certifications, courses and skills, this will build the organization’s Skills Inventory. When managers need a particular set of skills for an assignment or position they will be able to reference the Skills Inventory and match individuals skills to their requirements.
