Introducing a new employee to your organization is a very important event in the employee’s career with your organization.  How New Hire processing is handled is very important to the company in terms of employee motivation and effectiveness.  The HRSB takes care of the administrative chores to meet reporting, governmental and legal requirements. so the organization can concentrate on inspiring new employees.

Forms – The information  accumulated when the new hire was an applicant automatically transfers to the employee record.  The HRSB provides standard on-line forms for the employee to complete that capture additional personal and contact information.  Other standard forms, which the employee must sign such as employment agreements will be available on-line to print out.

Checklist – The manager, HR or another selected individual within the organization should check that the employee has the proof of citizenship and walk through the New Hire process with the employee.  The HRSB provides a checklist that can be referenced on-line as the steps are completed.

Payroll Records – The employee will also complete their W4 and Direct deposit information on-line to be fed to Payroll along with the pay and personal information in a standard format if so desired.  This eliminates entering information into Payroll.

Property – If the employee receives organizational property such as cell phones, lap tops or beepers, these can be recorded in the HRSB’s system on-line.

Employee Portal – As part of the New Hire process, the employee will be introduced to the employee portal, which the employee will use throughout their life with the company.  As changes occur to their personal and contact data, they will enter them.  The employee can use the portal to reference an employee handbook, policies, see job postings, request time-off, select benefits, register training and see organizational communications.   Each organization determines the information seen on its employee portal by the employees.

Most of the New Hire processes are included in the Base Product.  The Payroll Interface will be available as an option.
