The HRSB will supply the Base Product to all clients. The Base Product contains functions that are included throughout the HR Process Wheel. In addition, it provides standard functions that are necessary to drive all of the other processes and services of the HRSB, such as entering basic employee data. A key feature of the Base Product is the Web. Employees perform transactions directly over the Web, rather than completing inefficient forms, which must in turn be processed by at least one other person. This capability provides leverage saving steps which saves you time and money. The advantages are multiplied, since a single transaction can feed multiple processes all of which are automated by the HRSB, thereby generating further savings. Take the simplest example of an address change. In an un-automated environment, an employee may have to complete five or ten forms for Payroll, company mailing list, 401(k), and multiple insurance companies. All of this can be handled by the employee entering the address change over the Web and the HRSB's systems updating the various lists and entities. This seems very simple, but CFO magazine says that changing contact data over the Web saves 74% of the manual cost or $9.47. The Base Product alone provides an organization extensive features, which surpass those of many organization's current Human Resource Systems.
